We are a family of practitioners and, from our perspective, it's easy to see just how superb Nutritional Balancing can be. Back in 2012, we decided to up our game plan and move to Portugal. We realised that our limited Portuguese was no barrier to the clean air we could breathe, the abundance of vegetables we could grow and the supply of pure water flowing directly through our land.

Since then, we have been restoring two beautiful ruins in the national park of Mata da Margaraça. One has become our family home and the other, a retreat designed specifically for Nutritional Balancing.

Located in this stunning valley full of organic produce and like-minded people, we invite you to come and share in our paradise, learn the ropes of Nutritional Balancing and take your time to really slow things down, relax and recuperate.

Meals throughout your stay will be provided free of charge, with all ingredients organically sourced or home grown where possible. In addition to daily bone broths, freshly made carrot juices and clean spring water, menus are carefully selected and prepared to support your individual oxidation rate and specific requirements. All guests will also benefit from access to a private bathroom and near infrared sauna.

Throughout the year, we are offering a mix of educational stays with practitioner workshops and cookery courses. The retreat is open to anyone on a Nutritional Balancing programme, regardless of your choice of practitioner.
