B(A)ª Balthazar Aroso arquitectos, Lda it’s an architecture studio created in 2003, with the main premise of developing projects under thought and experimental formulation.

We believe the architecture practice must be open to other fields of knowledge in order to respond the indeterminacies which characterize today’s world and, by doing so, meet the needs of human beings, contributing to a more ethical society.

As architects, how can we do that?

We think that is the convergence with other fields of knowledge that enables us to new points of view on specific issues, thus allowing us to formulate new attitudes. That is, if the scientific development is at the origin of the contemporary world configuration, it is then in the scientific field that we must seek the answers to their indeterminacies and that is where we find the solutions to improve the human and social experiences, essential foundation of architecture.
